John Petter, managing director of BT’s Consumer division, said: “BT Cloud helps customers to place their treasured digital pictures and family videos with their trusted broadband supplier, at no extra cost. Links to pictures and files can be shared with friends and contacts via email, Facebook or Twitter. You can access the site at btcloud.bt.com or download the apps for iOS and Android. You can use this for saving documents, pictures, videos and anything else and access your files on the go from your laptop, tablet or phone. It’s perhaps best thought of as being similar to Dropbox in that you get 50GB of free storage space to go with your broadband from BT.
